Since our processing costs are about the same, no matter if it is a $25,000 loan or a $250,000 loan. These costs, (and processing time), when added to the rates in loans under $50,000, would make us less competitive than some other sources.

You should be aware that many other online brokers will all be looking at many, if not all of the same lenders. These national and larger regional lenders, like our own, tend to specialize in amounts over $50,000, so be careful who you authorize to pull your credit reports if you submit an actual application. Lenders who normally specialize in loan amounts under $50,000 may potentially be your local bank, local or regional credit unions - or other local sources that may be found by simply searching online for the term: "RV loans under $50,000 in 'your state'". (Of course, you could search in 'your city', if you live in a larger metropolitan area.) Your main goal is to find sources that are local to your area, and more competitive for lower amounts.

Also, if you or a spouse are a veteran, USAA.com may offer suitable programs for amounts under $50,000, and they also have more moderate underwriting guidelines. They may also be available for non-veterans, so contact your local branch or just look online.

Another thing to keep in mind is that many published "Loan Rates" you see online, are very likely "Teaser Rates", or may be restricted in some aspects, or limited to a shorter loan term. (Such as 5 years.) If you see the "Disclaimer" link, be sure to click on it and look for any restrictions on the published rates, such as minimum loan amounts, certain U.S. states or regions, and/or minimum credit requirements. (e.g.: Credit scores over 800 or more.)

Our loan amounts and down payment minimums listed below can vary in certain situations, but the $50,000 minimum amount is fixed. New and Used RV and motorhome down payment and loan amounts are normally as follows:

We can also add your sales tax to the total sales price. (Sales Price plus Sales Tax = Grand Total.) The down payment would then be deducted from the grand total. This way, your sales taxes are financed into your loan; helping to reduce your "out-of-pocket" expenses! (Grand Total minus Down Payment = Loan Amount.)

Trade-In "Equity" may also be counted toward your required Down Payment; or combined with additional cash down payment, to meet the minimum required.
